Share 'Bridal Talisman'
The fish talisman makes frequent appearances during Tunisian wedding celebrations. This example from Djerba was probably used to adorn the bride. It is hollow silver with a gold wash, about 14 cm long. The style of pattern on the imitation coins is typical in Djerban ornaments.
