I've been enjoying reading all the forum posts and articles on the site but haven't had the chance to participate as yet. I love ethnic jewelry so this site is perfect!
I recently acquired this Nagaland necklace with a fishtail pendant and I'd like to know more about it. I dug out my book on Southeast Jewelry but didn't see anything similar to it there. A search online showed a few like it but the pendant always has a face on it, unlike mine.
I would love to have your input on this necklace--any ideas as to age? symbolism of the pendant?
I certainly would appreciate any and all information!
