I recently came in possession of this collar (and several other tribal looking pieces for hair and neck), and want to identify the region, material, etc. I've seen some Ladakh and this looks similar to me. I welcome any enlightment! I know next to nothing about ethnic jewellery, but I'm learning.

It doesn't lay flat, it is curved so it hugs your neck sort of.
