  • I think it is probably new, I actually noticed quite a few painted doors and window doors in Morocco, particularly in Taroudaunt when I was there last time. I am always very attracted to the fibula motifs on the doors, really can't resist them.

  • @ Patty

i was checking an item for a friend in Ebay france, i came across some little doors like this.

i m still in my opinion new and fantasie pieces. look beautiful and apealing to some touristes. but not authetic berber window .

i see here the same story as the dogon/bamun/kuba doors

  • I looked atit again, it looks like window door or animals room"adeynin" in kabyl, maybe the same in marocan berber.in both cases, missing the time use for an old one
  • Great door, It look as though it is upside-down as I see two particularly wonderful keyhole shapes on the bottom.

  • The door looks old; but the colors look new

  • very nice door Patty. i agree with vintage door. the samples are not all berber wood work

i have somewhere samples of Kabyl / berber wood work and doors too. i ll send it to you if i find it

  • Alas this door is not mine just something beautiful that I admire.
  • It is really wonderful! Do you have it inside or outside? I have two old doors from Turkey with deeply carved designs. I have them in the garden. The painting on this one is special.

  • It is a door from Siroua, possibly Talouine.

my guess is a vintage door with new ish painting S x
